We believe that a good story should be shared with other book reading enthusiasts. Our mission is to connect people who share the passion for books in order to allow them to exchange valuable information about anything that is related to books and book reading including great book discounts as well as to create a strong book reading community. We organize weekly meetings for our members in a hospitable and relaxed ambiance because we believe that the traditional meetings create more intimate atmosphere and a closer bond between our members.
Today’s hectic lifestyle makes it hard on all of us to find time to get ourselves comfortable and read a good book, and much less to find time to meet with other book lovers on a regular basis. Many book reading societies have therefore moved online to enable their members to connect with each other at any time. Joining an online book reading society without a doubt has its advantages, however, it takes away that intimate and unique experience that is provided by the traditional book reading meetings. For that reason we have decided not to move online and continue to organize face-to-face meetings for our members. Periodically, we discuss the optimal meeting time with our members in order to suit their busy schedules in the greatest extent possible.
At out weekly meetings, our members discuss about the latest books, catch up with the classics, talk about authors, news from the world of books, etc. and in the end, choose the book of the week by voting. The book that gets most of the votes by our members, is declared book of the week and is discussed at the next meeting. In order to suit all our members’ literary preferences, the suggestions for the book of the week are always chosen from different literary art and genre.
Since book reading is not an inexpensive hobby, we dedicate a lot of time to book discounts and great bargains in order to enable our members to get their hands on the best books at the lowest price possible. We provide all the necessary information about bookstores and book clubs with a quality offer of books at the best prices. They are also regularly discussed by our members at our weekly meetings, so all information about the best places to buy books are “freshly“ updated and proven the best by out members. If we found new bookstores offering great deals, we immediately forward our discovery to our members.
Our book reading society is not specialized in a particular literary art or genre and we accept everyone with the passion for book reading regardless of their literary preferences. However, we pay a special attention to children’s literature because we believe that love for books and passion for reading should be nurtured from the early childhood. We provide guidance, information, news, reviews and of course, information about the best places to find children’s books at reduced prices. Each week, we also choose the children’s book of the week.
