As a Registered Charity, your Society exists to help others as well as to serve you, its members. It funds some of the awards to pupils whose parents cannot meet the fees without financial help; it provides grants for activities organised by the school and for material items it would otherwise go without.

Although the Society derives income from investments it also needs a steady income from voluntary annual subscribers to meet the requests for help. About one fifth of our income is derived in this manner.

If you could spare even £10 a year paid under Gift Aid to the Society this would give over £12.50 to the charity.
